Baby Signing Basics

This is a one-time, 30-minute workshop that covers the basics of baby signing. You will learn about the advantages and benefits of signing with pre-verbal infants and toddlers as well as how to get started signing, the best time to begin, how and when to introduce signs, how to incorporate signs into your daily activities and the four (4) most useful signs. This workshop is one of the pre-requisite options for the Play, Sign & Storytime classes at the Port Saint Lucie Civic Center and is perfect for parents and caregivers who cannot attend weekly classes but would still like to learn the fundamentals of signing so they can begin at home.

*Preregistration with the City of PSL is required at least 1 day prior to start of class. Subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment numbers are not met.

Preregistration is required for all classes and workshops. Registration fees are non-refundable and vary by class. For classes held at the PSL Civic Center, the registration fee is to be paid to the instructor on the first day of class.
