Class & Workshop Participation Agreement

Registration and Payment

Preregistration and prepayment are required for all classes and workshops. Registration for events held at the PSL Civic Center must be done through the City of Port Saint Lucie's Parks and Recreation Department.

There is a one time, non-refundable registration fee per person (adults and children over 13) on paid events for first-time registrants. For classes held at the PSL Civic Center, the registration fee is to be paid to the instructor on the first day of class. For home hosted classes or events not being held at the PSL Civic Center, registration is available on line or you may register by mail by downloading the form and returning it to us. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required for this download. Please be sure to include the registration fee along with your payment for any classes or workshops you are taking. We cannot accept your registration or hold your class/workshop spot until all fees are paid. Secure payments can be made on line though our PayPal account. All returned checks are subject to a $25.00 service charge.

Refund and Cancelation Policy

Please contact the City of Port Saint Lucie Civic Center for their refund/cancelation policy for all classes/workshops conducted at that location.

For all others, we require a notice of cancelation of at least 72 hours prior to the beginning of your class, workshop or event to receive a full refund of your tuition. A partial refund of 75% will be given if cancelation is received 48 hours prior to the start of class and 50% will be refunded if noticed is received within 24 hours. You may apply your tuition toward another training session if cancelation notice is received anytime prior to the start of class, including the day of class. No refunds will be given for withdrawal from class past the first day; however, you may be given a credit to use toward another training event at our discretion.

Registration fees are non-refundable regardless of the timing of cancelation as we order materials needed for training events upon receipt of registration.

You will receive a full refund (tuition and registration fee) if Itty-Bitty Signers must cancel a class or workshop due to low enrollment or any other unforeseeable event (for classes not being held at the PSL Civic Center – Please contact them directly for their policy pertaining to these circumstances).

Missed Classes

We will be more than happy to provide you with handouts from missed classes. Additionally, if we are conducting multiple sessions of your class at another time and/or location, you are welcome to sit in on the class you missed at the alternate site/time as well. You may also make up missed classes at the next offered session. It is up to you to discuss your options with us if you are interested in making up a class.

Discounted Fee for Additional Attendee(s)

Where discounted rates apply for additional class/workshop attendee(s), please note that said additional participant(s) must be the same as that defined at the bottom of the class description, i.e. spouse as stated at the bottom of the Intensive Workshop for Adults; spouse, siblings and grandparents for Private Instruction family rate, etc. We may give a discounted rate if other family members, i.e. aunts, uncles, cousins wish to attend, but this is at our discretion. Please contact us for a price quote or if you have any questions regarding this policy.

In consideration of the registrant’s participation in any Itty-Bitty Signers class or workshop activity, I hereby waive and release all claims for damages for death, personal injury, or property damage that may occur as a result of engaging in any such said activity. This discharges in advance Itty-Bitty Signers, its employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns for liability. I understand that some activities may involve a risk of accident and I willingly assume the risk. This waiver, release and assumption of risk are binding on my heirs and assigns. I hereby release and hold harmless Itty-Bitty Signers, its employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns for any claims. I hereby consent to the photography, recording or reproduction in any other manner of the likeness, voice and or activities of my child and further authorize Itty-Bitty Signers to make unlimited use of such reproduction. I understand that I will not receive compensation, now or in the future for participating.
